Pimples are skin problems faced by almost everyone. It is one of the major embarrassments in social parties, colleges, offices or in many other social gatherings. Pimples can occur on face, back and chest. Pimples or acne is one of the most frequent, chronic and common skin diseases. It occurs due to the disturbance in hormones or at the time of puberty.
Some of the tips for treatment of pimples
Pimples can be treated through a number of natural home remedies. Additionally, you can see a doctor when it seems non-treatable.
Many dermatologists recommend application of salicylic acid for treatment of acne/pimples. This acid is anti-bacterial and dries up the excessive oil under the skin pores which causes a pimply skin.
Ice brings down swelling and redness which occurs due to outbreak of acne. Hold an ice cube on pimple for 20-30 minute, it will close the pore. This will drive out the excessive bacteria and will drain out dirt on its own.
Washing face on a regular basis
It is advisable to wash face twice a day and not more. Mild soap should be used with warm water. The skin should be washed gently. Make sure that you do not scrub the pimpled skin. This may lead to bursting of the pimple which can leave an ugly spot.
Avoid bursting of pimples
Bursting of pimples should be avoided as it may increase risk of infection causing more risk of blockage and worse redness and swelling. It may also lead to scaring.
Lemon juice and rose water
Mixture of lemon juice and rose water should be applied on the area where pimples are present. Keep it for some time and then wash.
Honey and cinnamon powder
Mixture of cinnamon powder and honey should be applied on the affected areas as it effectively cures pimples.
Azadirachta indica leaves and turmeric
Apply paste of turmeric and Azadirachta indica leaves on pimples. Keep it for half an hour and then wash the face. These leaves have antiseptic properties and will prevent the further outburst of pimples.
Oatmeal and honey
Applying the paste of turmeric with oatmeal is also very useful in curing pimples.
It is one of the best home remedies for curing pimples. The leaves of the aloe vera directly should be applied on the surface of the pimples. It prevents inflammation as it is known to be anti-bacterial.
Leaves of basil should be boiled in water for fifteen to twenty minutes. Apply it on the infected area when decoction is cooled. It cures pimples fast and naturally. It must be done regularly for quick cure and relief.
Juice of raw papaya should be applied on the affected area as it cures pimples naturally and without any side effects.
Fresh juice of mint leaves should be applied on pimples as it is one of the home remedies.
Pulp of tomato should be applied on the pimples for an hour. It is considered to be one of the effective treatments for the pimples.
Cucumber juice is also effective for the treatment for pimples. Fresh juice should be applied for an hour on a regular basis.
Garlic has allicin which is good anti-biotic. The mask of garlic and yoghurt should be applied on the affected areas. For prevention and cure of pimples, garlic should be consumed daily whether as food or as with drinks.
